About The Bishop

Bishop Henderson at the age of eight showed leadership abilities and went on the evangelistic field with his mother, the late Mattie Williams, preaching and handing out materials. Bishop was lead to Christ by his mother in 1980 serving as an ordained Elder of Evangelist Temple Church of God In Christ under the late Pastor Edmond Hicks for ten years.

In April 1984 he united in marriage with Pastor Cassandra. They have one daughter Crystal and two sons, Louis III, Drew, and four grandchildren.

In October 1990 the voice of the Lord spoke to Bishop telling him to start New Hope Church of God In Christ. The Lord blessed the ministry to start with six adults and eleven children. Bishop Henderson was ordained Pastor on August 9th, 1992 under Presiding Jurisdictional Bishop C.D. Kinsey. Later in May of 2002 God gave him to change the name to New Hope Ministries of Orlando Inc., a non-denominational ministry which would have no boundaries for serving God's people. On June 20th, 2003 Bishop Henderson was ordained in the office of Bishop by Apostle Wiley C. Wright of Triumphant Living Ministries.

The Visionary and Leader for New Hope Ministries has been ministering for more than 26 years on the streets of Orlando, prisons, holding revival services, conferences and leadership training seminars. Besides having a passion for the lost, he excels on platforms of Leadership training, church structures, as well as being a good old fashion Holy Ghost Preacher! The revelation and wisdom that comes from the Bishop is truly inspiring and life changing.
